I have ordered these countries in ascending order(smallest to biggest) by looking at different place value columns, Portugal is bigger than Switzerland because when you look at the tens of millions column in Portugal it has 1 in the tens of millions column and Switzerland has nothing there so it’s less. Greece is more than Portugal because if you look at the tens of millions column and millions column they are both the same so you move on to the hundred-thousand column and Greece has 8 and Portugal has 2. France has more than Greece because if you look at the tens of millions column France has 6 and Greece has 1. Germany is bigger than France because if you look at the tens of millions column Germany has 8 France has 6. THE END By George and James |
