We recommend Holes because it is a very exciting and adventurous book. It is about a boy who is very unlucky and disliked. One day he finds himself on a bus going to a camp in a desert, for boys who don’t behave correctly.

When he arrives there everyone makes fun of his weight and body. After a while in the camp they start to dig holes everywhere. No one knows why…

We recommend this book to ten and fourteen year olds and I rate it eight out of ten.
