Thursday - Vikings, pond dipping & team building
Year 3 have loved finding newts, dragonfly larvae and other insects during pond dipping and inspecting all of the minibeasts they found. This afternoon they have completed the maze crystal challenges in teams leading to the completion of the maze. They are having a brilliant day and have loved all of the team work tasks today.
Year 4 have been Viking warriors today (after another hearty breakfast!) making shields, talking about weapons and escaping after raiding a village.
The children have enjoyed new awesome faces, painted to look very scary, and some are boasting gruesome facial injuries (painted, we promise!) Lunch was fit for a Viking feast too!
We are all looking forward to the campfire later this evening. Another fun filled day at GBC. The sun has shone and we have many happy learners building friendships, trying new experiences and loving the beautiful environment here.
