Victorian Day

Yesterday a fake Florence Nightingale visited Bentley School. She taught us lots about the Crimean War. I loved when we all got to scrub our desks. 

We even got to pretend to make and eat chicken stew. 

Also we got to bandage ourselves up. 

My favourite part was when we packed for the journey. 

The class learnt so much more gruesome stuff about the war. 

In the afternoon we made lamps and one of the boys got wrapped up in bloody bandages. He even had a rat on his tummy.
