School
Bentley CE Primary School is a one form entry school where there is always something exciting happening. We are well known for our excellent outcomes academically, but also for providing a broad and balanced curriculum to engage and develop the skills of every individual child. In a busy modern world we attract families from a wide area, but very much reflect our local catchment of the villages of Bentley and Froyle. We are proud of the great feedback we get each year from all the different Secondary School as our pupils move up.
Our school is truly blessed by our wonderful local community; a great team of Governors, who both challenge and support the everyday work of school, a phenomenal PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) who organise a variety of fundraisers, a superb parent body who are keen to ensure that every child achieves and we have terrific support from the wider community. I am proud of our excellent staff team, who all work their hardest to ensure that children are well supported, but also challenged to take risks, which helps them to both achieve and flourish.
Our school believes that every child can succeed and we support children to ‘give new things a try’. We plan a rich and broad ‘extended’ curriculum with a wide range of sports, enrichment clubs and additional opportunities to engage and interest learners. From residential visits (for all Junior aged children) to close links with our local church community, we always have a lot going on every week. Please do have a read through our website to find out more or even better, come along to visit!
I look forward to meeting you,
